Hello,
Anyone interested in a]hands-on off-camera flash tutorial? I'll be teaching one soon in NYC. Being that a lot of info is available FREE and online, the goal is to provide a hands-on experience and in-person instruction. Details: - 90min class. small class size (5) held at a photo studio. $25 per person. - Crash course type format, mostly technical knowledge given very very quickly and then straight to practice - Very hands on. I teach/demo for 30min and the rest of the time is hands on. - I provide strobes, radio triggers, stands, umbrellas. Everyone gets at least one strobe and a pair of radio triggers to try out. BYO camera. - Goal is to teach the mechanics of wireless strobe use, equipment, technique, etc. The idea is that I provide a bunch of equipment (several pairs of triggers, 5-6 speedlights, stands, umbrellas, etc), teach for 30min, and let students run wild in my studio with the equipment for the next hour in a hands-on teaching session. Here's the link to the class: Off-camera flash 101 I'm posting both to let people know of the opportunity and solicit feedback (constructive, please?) on content & value. Is a hands-on lesson you'd be willing to pay for? Should I add something else to the syllabus? i.e I'm not covering e-TTL but may consider it. |
