I casually shot a wedding for some family friends with nothing but my camera and a kit lens. So - really - you don't need anything but a camera...
I think you need to be a bit more specific... What time is the wedding at? What's the venue like? What camera do you have? etc...

2 weeks away, no flash gear or flash experience. Gotta love a challenge!!!
As the previous poster mentions, provide some more info...but for the time being, rent the biggest ittl/ettl flash made by the manufacturer of your camera throw it on top in auto. Point & shoot... |

I was thinking the same thing, and I know nothing about photography or wedding photography!

Susan: thanks! I felt kind of mean doing it, though. Everybody else was so encouraging.
BuddhaPi: me neither. I'm just a hobbyist shooter. But I've read waaaay too many photography board posts. I suppose I should also post my other favorite-insight-into-what-it's-like links:

I know the girl well - the main reason I'm doing it is she can't afford a full-time professional photographer. Dad is out of the picture and mom doesn't work, and she is going to a Christian college supporting herself, which means lots of school loans to pay off. I have shot at weddings before, just not as the lead photographer. |
