I understand the theory of sync speed as it relates to strobes but if I'm reading all the tutorials and other articles about lighting correctly, it seems as if there's a very specific setting that is optimal depending on the camera.
My problem is that I'm working with an old Canon (ds6041) and I can't find a manual to figure out how to determine what the setting should be. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience (or distant memories?) with this camera and could point me in the right direction or give me some pointers short of trial and error... ![]() Regards, Joel Last edited by joelwesseldyke; 08-17-2010 at 08:24 PM. |

Based on what I found on google, the ds6041 is the same as the 300D. Why does Canon use different names for different markets?
A PDF manual can be found here at the bottom of the following page. Download is slow, patience needed. Canon U.S.A. : Support & Drivers : EOS Digital Rebel Zona is right, 1/200th or slower for this camera. |
