Default What is Pika?

I've seen many videos about this techique on Youtube and I tried it myself
but I just can't make it
Sometimes I can make the lighting words but everything at the back are black
can anyone help me??

That's not "Pika", that's just light painting.

You need to set the camera up on a tripod, f/8, about 20 seconds. Take a little LED light of some kind and draw the shape you want in the air in front of you, repeatedly, pointed towards the camera. Because of the long shutter speed, the lines you make with the LED will create lines of light in the image.

Thanks! actually I tried in this way but i can only see the light painting but the backgound is all black, I wanna capture my friends in the picture too

Also I've really no idea, could u tell me what is Pika?

There's no such thing.

As for getting your subjects in as well, you can try aiming a light at them while they aim the LED back at the camera. DONT use flash, just use a flashlight.

This my favorite one.. The hard part is remembering where in the air and what you just painted for the next exposure.
