I've got an sb600 speedlight set up off camera (D60) using the Cactus Wireless Trigger. I haven't really used this set up for anything much at all yet..except to play around a little bit when I first got it...and it worked fine then.
I set it up tonight to practice a bit taking some pictures of the kids and it doesn't seem to work properly. The flash works fine on camera but when I set it up with the Cactus Triggers it doesn't work. I tried a new battery in both parts of the Cactus Trigger but still nothing and both batteries are basically brand new. I am doing a shoot tomorrow (3 month old) and although I'm planning on using natural light I was hoping to have the flash set up in case the room we're in doesn't get enough sunlight through the window. Anyone have any suggestions? |

have you got the receiver turned on?
have you checked that the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency? (those 1 2 3 4 sliders) when you press the test button on the receiver does the light on th receiver light up? have you get the flash turned to manual mode? i've never had any real problems with mine
