Default Lighting suggestions...oh and there's beer

I've been reading a lot about different lighting techniques, and have learned a lot, but there's nothing like hands on practice and advice from your peers. My main goal here was to be able to evenly light this bottle without that annoying direct reflection that is so common with glass objects. I think I've managed that, but now I want to go a step further and add some dimension to it, but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it with a cylindrical object...and a highly reflective one at that. Anyone out there have any thoughts or ideas on the easiest way to go about this?

and here's the setup:

SB600 through umbrella at 1/4 +.7, reflectors front left and right, Nikon D50 @ 1/250 f/4.8 135mm

The dark spots in the bottom of the umbrella were an attempt to block a bit of light from the top of the background to get a little falloff...didn't work very well.

Here's the thing: You dont want direct reflections, but the only way to give the bottle SOME dimension is with reflections and shadows. Ideally, I'd say 2 more flashes in place of your reflectors, in umbrellas, at low power. But that's expensive.

I have seen bottles with additional lighting from the bottom that add some dimension. Bottle is sitting on glass with a light underneath. If you wanted to keep your white scoop you would cut a small opening where the back bottom edge of the bottle sits.

Hadn't thought of lighting from the bottom...and having trouble visualizing how that would achieve my goal, but at the same time I've never tried it so I'm having trouble visualizing what it would do at all, so only one way to know for sure. As for adding more lights...I'm currently working with the single strobe...but I do have another on the way (wish it didn't take so long to ship stuff to Korea...manufacture in China, ship to the US, and the ship all the way back to Korea...seems like a waste). I'll have to give that set up a try when it arrives. Thanks for your input.
