Hi there ....
First of all i m regular reader of DPS ...and very immature on photography aspect ...but i try to understand the concepts.... so we went to the trip with kids ...it was a bright and sunny day ......i was trying to play with Aperture mode .....took a lot of pictures with Apertures like f/11 to f/32 .......tried to change shutter speeds at different points...my pictures all too bright .......my understanding was that if i m using F say f22 or even f32 picture should not be that bright ..i was trying to click landscape ...can this be ISO issue?.... My second question is ...how to take pic of people in landscape ....(for example ,..i want to take picture of my kids in front of half dome ......or once at night in front of stratosphere .....either my son was in focus or stratosphere ....) i m sorry if questions look too trivial thanks for reading ...... . |

f/22 and f/32 are almost never going to be used, tbh. You shouldnt really go further than f/16, and even that is generally pushing it.
