Question Home Studio

Hi, I am planning on building my studio and I thinking of not having any windows put in. I will be using artificial lighting to keep it all very controlled but I am not sure if that is a such a good idea. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Well, for a studio, absolutely a good idea. If you have natural light coming in, you'll not have the control over the lights.

Of course, you could just put blackout curtains up.

Ya I'd be more for using curtains to control light. You can't buy window light.
Of course that's assuming you shoot portraits or such...if you only shoot objects or alway do long exposures where you can not have any spill then maybe not.
Fresh air is always nice too

I am planning on concentrating on tabletop photography or still life. And maybe some portrait when I become more confident.
