Never heard of them but that isn't really surprising as there are so many items that get rebrand. From looking at their website it appears they are ac powered strobes. They do not have a lot of power. The m100 GN=56 the m40 is 46. Most portable strobes have more power than that and (don't have to plug in the wall).

I think I would check out this one first CowboyStudio Photography Lighting | Studio Equipment | Studio Accessories

I don't own this exact brand of lights, but I own several that look nearly identical except for the label and I like 'em.

Thanks for replies. I bought stands and two backdrops from a women off gumtree near to where i live,i want to try and do my own studio work taking photos of family and friends........Well any ways, this women had the opus m100 studio set up,yes it is not very powerfull, but i bought it off her for £100. I bought cheap trigger and reciever to set of my flash but they dont seem to flash, also the m100 flash head does not test fire although the lights come on.I didnt want to buy expensive gear,so i bought the cheap gear to start off. i think i made a mistake buying the cheap stuff............lol...........im new to digital photography but at my camera club we had a studio night with a model and my photos were very good, thats what i want to try in my own place..but i take it i should buy expensive gear then............ cheers..............
