I would like to know if the Sunpak 422D is a good starter flash? I want to get started with something cheap that I can experiment with. I have a Canon Rebel xs and will use the flash with wireless triggers off camera.
Does this flash operate in Manual mode? Does it have a pc sync port or do I need to buy a hot shoe adapter? And is there anything I need to know as to why I should or shouldn't use one? Thanks

Neither the body nor the module of the flash have a sync port. To use your remote flash trigger receiver you will either a) have a reciever that has its own hot shoe or b) use a separate pc to hot shoe adapter that is hooked to the reciever via a pc sync cord. |
