I am going to Yosemite on Friday morning to try and get some beautiful "Winter Wonderland" type shots and was wondering if anyone had any tips for shooting in the snow and the freezing cold. Obviously I will be bundled up but what about settings on my camera and stuff like that, any tips?

Snow is supposed to be white. Your camera will want to make it grey. Use your exposure compensation, and bump it 1 1/2 or 2stops. My camera goes in one-third of a stop increments, and I often find myself shooting snow scenes at anywhere from +1.3 to +2.3, depending on the conditions and light. This is especially true in the mountains.
I also highly recommend a circular polarizer and several stackable graduated neutral density filters. You may find yourself needing to balance your exposure as much as 5stops, so be sure to bring a variety. Be careful. I know everyone says it, but really...be careful. The Sierras are being hit with one of the biggest snowstorms in years as we speak. It has been snowing and raining on the east side non stop since late Sunday. I was up at Mono Lake and Walker Canyon on Sunday morning, and the storm moving in was absolutely gigantic. 395 was closed from Mammoth to past Bridgeport all day today. It is going to be incredibly easy to get lost, stranded, stuck, or otherwise delayed and/or incapacitated, either on foot or on the highway. Please don't take these warnings lightly...
