Hey,
I live in Cairo, Egypt - which is naturally a very dusty and smoggy place. I find that it makes a lot of my landscape shots look very soft and can be a real pain especially around dawn/dusk. Does anyone have any tips on how to compensate? Cheers, Pete |

There really isnt much you can do in that kind of environment.

Yeah... it's a real pain. Your best bet may be to try to use it to your advantage -- perhaps use the sand/smog to make a "misty" landscape or cityscape shot. If you can get bands of dust, especially with the sun hilighting them, that could be cool too. Otherwise... good luck!
