Hi there,
just wanted to say how much I liked the colors and feeling of calm from looking at your image. It's lovely and you should be very proud of it. Sunset can be difficult at times but you have captured this moment in time really well. I really like it.
David.

Any post processing on this shot? It's amazing how just 3 colors (red yellow and black) can dramatically impact a simple moment in time. Good stuff!

It's been a while since i took this photo. Can't really remember exactly the post processing. I think the only thing i did was darken the sun a bit, it was a bit too bright...

Nice composition. And very colorful.

One observation I see is it's a bit fuzzy or out of focus. One thing that might be hindering your focus is your focal length. Most zoom lenses have a tendency to get soft at the extreme end of the zoom, in this case 300mm. Just dialing it back to 250mm or so might crisp things up.

Also, f/5.6 is pretty wide for landscape shots. Try something in the f/8 to f/13 range. That will give you a greater depth of field which will give you a better chance of getting everything in focus.

Finally, did you use a tripod?
