Default Landscape In Sepia

Not normally one for sepia but i think this kinda works..?, another 'treescape' from the deer park at Windsor...

I think sepia can work well for landscapes although I have a few reservations about this one:

1. It looks oversharpened - I can see haloes and the effect isn't angelic...

2. The deer and the birds are too small to be distinct and the sepia tone makes them look more like blemishes than welcome parts of the scene.

3. I think the foreground tree could do with a little more space to the left, so the branches don't touch right up to the border.

4. It would be a less true-to-life picture but possibly improved if that fence were digitally removed (probably fairly easy to blend in after toning).

I hope that doesn't sound too discouraging - I think the picture is on the right path even if, to my eye, it doesn't quite reach the destination.
