Default North Park Deer Farm At Windsor

Hi all,

Havn't posted in a long while due to receiving a DSLR for my b'day a couple of weeks ago. I am still getting to grips with all the new functions and slowly but surely i hope i am improving.
This is the first picture that i have taken that i am happy with, especially as i don't normally attempt landscape stuff, so i am curious to see what you all think about it.
I used a C-PL on my 18-55mm kit lens to get some colour into the sky and a little pp'ing mostly saturation boost. Thanks for looking

Beautiful sky and I like the subject.....I'm not so sure if I would rather have more clouds or lose the stray clouds or if its best left alone.....?

Hi Lurch,

With the treatment you've given it this looks more like African savannah than just North of London. I expect vast herds of wildebeest to come into frame any moment.

Great image!

Thanks Nathan, it is a beautiful place to go for the day and take some shots. This is on Queen Annes Ride where the Duke Of Edinburgh started planting 1000 trees in 1992 to comemerate 1000 years of the office of high sheriff. Lots of the trees are stunning having been struck by lightning or simply rotting hulks littering the landscape.

I also think more clouds would be good. That said I love the image and good composition.
