Just keep it basic and tweek until your eye says that looks good. Take a look at this it a great explanation of HDR.

Great shot and use of HDR.

The tutorial links are good but only shows one image make up.

I was wondering do you do any masking etc in PS and re run the tone mapper to achieve different tones or is all the work done in one pass in the tone mapper?

Thanks,

Gary.

I use photomatix, a great little piece of software. I run it through photomatix and then do my normal tweeks, USM etc in PS.

Would you consider writing a tutorial on HDR with picture examples (possibly allow download of the pictures to use as a basis for members to follow the tutorial) as this would be excellent subject material for a tutorial and possibly a mini assignment for DPS?

I for one would very much like to know the work flow process from taking the pictured, processing in Photomatix through to PS and then the final image.

Excellent work once again.

Regards,

Gary.
