Hello! I would say that yes, the photo is a bit underexposed. Most of the lower half of the photo (except a little of the reflections in the lake) are lost to blackness. I'd say that the most interesting part is the sky -- that should be brightened up a bit to make it easier to see and enjoy those lovely clouds!
You might find that using the Curves command (in almost any photo editor, including Photoshop and Gimp) will help you. You can tweak the image to keep the dark parts from becoming any darker, while bringing the brighter parts up to be even brighter. Could you post your edited version?

alright clark this is the revised version for ya, well one that i did, after using your suggestions.
let me no what you think. i did what i could using curves, and everything else. but the shadows still seem to dark to me. so just wanted your opinion on it. are the shadows to dark still or no? also, are the colors in the sky to vibrant? |
