Post Path To Power

Cockenzie Power Station dominates the combined towns of Cockenzie and Port Seton, on the shores of the Firth of Forth, a half-mile (1 km) northeast of Prestonpans and 8 miles (13 km) east of Edinburgh.

Its is a 1200 MW coal-fired power station, which comprises four separate generating units, has been operational since 1967.

I find the overall brightness very low, so the colours are looking dull. The road leads the eyes to the plant, but it is centrally placed and the horizon is bang at the middle cutting the picture in two. In my opinion you can give these a thought. You can also improve the DOF.
The coulds and the old plant has a lot of scope for improvement.

I like the overall look, but the sky can indeed be better, but not all situations are ideal. To me the the wall with the amazing texture and color need to be the focal point. I would crop tighter but then again it takes away from the pathway leading to the focal point (PS ing will reveal which looks better), and IMO the center placement of the subject and the sky seems ok (Again PS will reveal which will be more pleasing to the eye).

I would crop some of the clouds out, which will focus more on the plant. I like the texture of the stones. Brighting the photo might help. :-)
