I like the shot...but I think you could make it a better picture by cropping it tighter on the boats...you would still have the interesting sky and water with it...IMHO

Great photo. I like the tranquil mood it conjures up. I find my eyes being drawn to the horizon then up to the sky. Cropping for the boats would work if you want them to become the focus of the image rather than the general expanse.

I do use HDR but this is a straight out of the camera image.

Used a simple grey grad and exposed for the sky.
