I like the 2nd picture. The color of sunrise is beautiful. Only the sharpness is not optimal.

Although the sun is dead centre in the first one still I like it better than the second image. I think the siluhouette of the massive crane is whats making it more interesting. Colours in both the images are amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Heh, I thought it was the original Portsmouth, Hampshire UK where my spouse attends Uni.

The first image with the crane actually gives the image contrast from the sun in the middle. It also slightly frames it, so it pretty much evens out. Great shot.
