Default Vintage Forest

Last year as I was walking down a mountain path, amidst passing clouds, sudden appearance of sun, truant fog and miles of green and almost untrodden forests, I picked these two rememberances.

and a wee bit later as dense fog engulfed us

I am in love with the dreamy atmosphere.

Dreamy indeed.

Fog shots look tough to me. You are trying to capture a mood created by this fog which dampens everything -- and makes photos look washed out.

I wonder if the solution is to boost saturation on the unshrouded part of the photo -- it might help balance those portions of the photo robbed of colour by the fog.

Something I have tried in the past is to add a warming filter to a picture that is foggy. It makes it look "fairy" like. Couldnt think of a better word, maybe enchanted?
