There are a number of reasons a photo may not be sharp.

- Out of foucs - A posibility as at f/3.5 the DoF may be shallow
- Motion blur or camera shake - A posibility as at 1/13 you can't hand hold easily/at all without IS.
- Not enough sharpening - Maybe

Unfortunately I can't tell from your shot which it is due to the size posted. Is there anyway you can like to a larger version?

Generally speaking, you want to have a shutter speed thats faster than 1/focal length. So if you're shooting 50mm, youd want 1/50 or faster.

Now, From your exif I see that you're shooting with a P&S camera, at which point you dont really have much info as to "actual" focal length. This could also be why you arent getting the razor-sharp images: P&S cameras use very small sensors, lenses and glass, and its often not the greatest quality lenses they have. An SLR uses much better optics (even only the kit lens) and has a larger more sensitive sensor.

I never said it was a bad pic. Just that I couldn't tell from the small image you had posted. Since its a P&S I doubt its the foucs or the shrapening and since the shutter speed was only 1/13 I woulds suspect its camera shake. Did you use a tripod?
