The shot was taken in the early morning. The shot was not giving me the kind of pop I was really looking for so i switched the WB to Tungsten. The result was this beautiful blue.

Post processing included a small crop to panorama to help capture the scope of the view.

The picture has indeed the 'wow' factor, but the thing that my eye drifted to is that just right of the center of the picture, there's a head, or a rock that's sticking out of the water.

did it distract anybody else?

its actually a buoy. Its not my favorite part of the shot but i don't really feel like it necessarily detracts from it either.

Thanks for all the kind words.

I like the head/buoy. Imagining it as a person, and apart from warnings about not venturing out with a swim buddy, it almost lets me feel what it would be like to be alone and swimming in such an atmosphere. You can almost feel the water and breath in the morning air.
