What should I of done in general to make this photo better?

Specifically...
Is the contrast right?
Should I change the contrast?
any processing that should be done?

Hi Theo,

I'm not one to post many critiques, but this photo raised many questions for me, so thought I'd provide some feedback.

My main question is what is the feeling you are trying to achieve with the picture?

It seems kind of dark and I can't really tell what is the focus of the picture: the tree or the clouds/sky. Neither seem really sharp.

I like the pinkish color of the clouds and I think those could be brought out more, as well as a brighter color in the sky. Based on your settings, I would have tried a longer exposure time and/or higher ISO to let in some more light.

Out of curiosity, what kind of camera do you use?
