Is the 3 panel stitch obvious? I used a Canon A540 with landscape setting and polarized lens attachment; hand held. The image on my pc is a little lighter.
I thought the camera had anti-shake, but haven't noticed any improvement on zoomed shots. I wonder if a tripod would make much difference in this shot seeing that the auto exposure is fast in bright light. I'm a newb to say the least and SLR cameras are not in my budget. I am also a newbie, but I see nothing wrong with this picture. What program did you use to do the stitching?

very nice. you can see what i have but when the budget presents itself i will buy one of the new 10 megapixel canon P&S just announced at photokina 2008 like the sd880! i believe the camera is just a tool. like all tools is what we do with them that makes them good or bad. not the tool itself. just watch the high iso though. but this image is gorgeous! i plan on using the sd880 more than the slr because it will be in my pocket everyday! i can't take the slr everwhere. some people have 20 dollar film camera's and do better pics than 5000 dollar camera in my own hands. i actually wish i had a small camera to start with.

Thanks guys
Microsoft Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition took the place of Adobe Photo Deluxe Business edition (Windows 98) ArcSoft Photo Studio 5 is the other program I use for enhancement tools, instead of Photoshop which was too complex for me. |
