Whoa there deltacsar665...
a) First off welcome to the forums. Here you will find many many good people who are very appreciative, and will offer good advice.
b) Your shots are good. Film and Digital may have many differences and similarities, but it is the person behind it that makes and creates the images.
I really like the second image a lot. If you want my suggestion. It already seems like you have a scanner. Download Picasa, which will allow you to start cropping faster than other programs out there, so you can upload individual images.
I look forward to more of your work...
Take care,
Aramil.

Welcome to the forums deltacsar665.

Although this is called "Digital" Photography School, a lot of what is discussed here applies to photography as an art....composition, lighting etc. It doesn't matter what camera you have; point&shoot, slr, film or digital, it all applies.

Also, even though you have a film camera you can still discuss digital post processing of your scanned images if you wish. There's plenty of free photo processing software out there (The Gimp for example) which you could use. They're not always as user friendly as the ones you buy but they get the job done.

I love that first one! It's kinda abstract and almost mesmeric...

It seems to be quite simple in terms of subject but complicated in terms of composition, which is interesting in it's own right, but the water droplets really hold the whole thing together, I think...

Nice shot, personally I had a blast shooting in film, but like some of these guys said, it's hard to work with post production with film. You can a course scan your picture, but it's never really the same after you scan it.
Very good job.

Actually... *guilty secret*... I'm currently shooting in film too.

I had a Canon 20D but, as much as I cuddled it, it wasn't actually mine and I had to give it back.

To be honest, I kinda like it. It's limited in some obvious ways, but you can get some beautiful shots. I'm currently getting my film developed in ASDAs of all places, because they'll put it on CD without much fuss so I can get them on my computer.

Does anyone know anywhere better I can develop film, because the processing isn't amazing?

I've got a Canon 300X, their latest (and probably last) entry level 35mm SLR.

It's got all the basic features you need anyway (Av and M, bracketing, the biggest thing it lacks in my opinion is mirror lock-up). Luckily for me it works with all my lenses and flash, so I still take it for a spin once in a while. Especially for B&W!

But a film scanner is a must!
