Default A little advice please

Hello

I took this shot a little while ago, and though i was pleased with the result i would like a few tips on how to go about getting more light and detail on the higher branches that are in the shade in camera.I am relatively new to photography and im a little unsure what to actually search for to see if i can find the info myself online.

Pine Tree

Many thanks in advance

I moved this to technique....
the share your shots is an area just to show off shots you are proud of and you might get more help here....

There are many post editing tools to get more of the shadows in the light so to speak....
Dodging will work...selecting and increasing birghtness oe exposure will work...
level adjustments..
All depends on what program you are using or if you have one...
also before you get that far using an external flash wouldd add some fill light when shooting.....
