Default Colorado Mountains

Blue Mesa Reservoir

Most of the time when you think of Colorado you think of snow-capped Rocky Mountains, but we have other beautiful mountains as well. This is Blue Mesa Reservoir in central Colorado.

That's beautiful, Michael! An amazing reflection. (looks like your name is a bit off center, however)

The drought in that part of the state is really bad. The lake runs for miles along the highway and the water level is down more than 30 feet!

Glad you like the image.

Its been bad here too. Altho we have had some serious flash flood warnings because of recent rain our lake is so far down that you cant hardly get a boat on it.

Michael, you're not from Colorado originally are you? Nobody FROM Colorado would call these mountains. You must be from farther east.

Nice shot.

That looks so pristine and fresh. The reflection looks simply amazing.
I just wonder what it would look in sunset. Must look dazzling too.
