I'm new to this site and SLR photography. Fortunately, I live in a beautiful area which inspires me each day.

Default Waterfalls

Great idea and I'm a bit late to show off but here are two I took while on vacation in Triberg, Germany this past summer.

Default A couple of my favorites

I just took these this past weekend on a trip to the Finger Lakes

IMGP5510

IMGP5576

Maybe not the classical waterfall piccs. but I did achieve the look I was going for and I like them

Both are great, but on the first one I would have cropped those green leaves in the foreground out, they are much more colorful than the rest of the scene and are distracting.

Thanks for the feedback, suggestions are always welcome! I thought I would lose too much of the picture if I cropped them out, so instead I cloned them out - how did I do?

It looks good, good job cloning I couldn't tell at first.

I feel as though it's too tight on the bottom side to the waterfall.

Default Good waterfalls in here. I'll add one to the running.

This is Nooksack falls, Washington. No really good angles to show the power of the falls, but here's my try. Any thoughts on comp or pp always welcome. A few more on my smugmug account. Don't know if adding link is desireable or not since I only joined and see very few with a link to their photo share sites.
