Black and White or Color?
  Picture I took of a bridge on a local path. I like it but not sure if I like it color or black and white. What do you think? I think I am leaning more towards the B&W. I cropped it also like Wulf suggested Last edited by jay_deewilliams; 05-23-2008 at 01:30 PM.

Moved to landscape technique - you can go back and get a critique once you have settled on one or the other. FWIW, I prefer the colour version as the fine detail acts like camouflage and obscures the monochrome one. In either, I would crop a chunk away from the bottom, which seems like wasted space.

I followed the links hoping to see a larger version, but in absence of one, I'd have to agree with wulf on both points. I'm not sure that much space is needed before the bridge, and I think the BW version blends into noise due to there being just too much detail without enough differentiation.
