rediguana, in the southern hemisphere, posted a similar thread http://digital-photography-school.co...53&postcount=1 about how to prepare, photographically speaking, for winter shots.
This will be my first summer using a camera that is not set on "Automatic." For those of you below the equator, do you have hints and tricks on how to get great summer shots? To semi-quote Gav: What I'd like to hear are some of the tips and tricks you discovered this Spring and Summer. What did you learn that helped your Summer photography, or where did you go to get some Summer shots. What would you have liked to have done this Summer but didn't get a chance? Thanks! Debbie

First thing to remember is dont shoot in the middle of thday. The harsh light will be just that, harsh. Beleive me I knwo its hard to get up before dawn but the results will be well worth it.
I love to do find bugs and do macro shots and again the best time is early in the morning whent he sun is not so harsh AND, there isnt a breeze

Thanks, windrider and diyosa! Good thoughts. I'll have to google "sunny 16", but it sounds easy to remember!
