Yes, the stuff at the bottom is a bit distracting.

This post should probably be in the "share your shots" section, though.

This post should belong to the "Critique" section.

A Nikon D70s, a few lenses, add flashguns to your taste. Stir well. Serve warm.

Why the angry face on this post? I agree that it belongs in either of the other 2 places. If you just want to share then it should be in the share your shots section. If you have specific things you want critique on then it should be in the critique landscapes section.

I think I would crop the concrete out at the bottom... it doesn't add to the picture at all... and is just distracting.
I would also cut out the pole and fencing or whatever that is at the bottom right...
In my opinion... the water and shoreline are the subject of the photo... so I would highlight them... and get rid of the 'extras' that aren't adding anything.
I think you could tweak the colours or contrast just a little too... to help define the foliage and bring the water up just a little.

One thing missing in the picture is a subject, it's a nice view alright, but what is it about? If it's about the sea and/or the sky, I think you could have found a better spot so they are more prominent in the photo. I think it is very important that every picture have a clear subject, otherwise we just move along.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll keep that in my mind...
