Default My First Landscapes

I have no idea what I'm doing but I was driving home and it was so beautiful I had to stop and shoot

I had to keep jumping in my car to chase the sun before it set!

I like the second one better. It has nice cloud details. First one look bit washed out. I believe deliberately you underexposed the second one?

I don't have photoshop or anything yet so I'm working with what I've got!

The horizon not being... horizontal (excuse the pun) bothers me a bit, especially on the first shot. Definitely a nice sunset though

I have dropped the oversized image from the post above.

BTW, you might find The Gimp useful if you want a powerful image editing program that is free.

it's a good starting point.. if you don't want to use a graphic program try to use picasa.. just few click to get a better photo (straighten - Contrast - Color)...
BTW what cell phone?

ok,my take on this is its a good pic, considering chasing the sunset,lol..been there done that b4..agree on the horizon comment also...the way i catch mine is to go into the field some;to eliminate the road, poles, wires, house etc..or try to angle urself it in a way to just get the trees n sunset,in the picture only..i like to fill the screen w/just the clouds n sunset also.ohhh a cell phone photo at that..have one of those also but havent figured the right setting fer it as yet..anyways hope i was helpful..gl
