how do I take good photos while caving & cave exploration ?

My only suggestions would be to use a diffuser (to prevent blown out hilights), and be mindful of your ISO setting. Low light conditions lead to "noise" issues. I also wouldn't use any of the programmed "Modes" on your camera, for the same reason. Mine tends to increase ISO to unacceptable levels when shooting in low light. Also, be careful of getting moisture in your camera. Good luck, and I can't wait to see your shots.

i'd put it on AV, iso 400 if it is pretty dark there (dont go higher if you can)
and take the lowest aperture possible... or else the best option would be an external flasher

Thanks guys - is using of a flash (llike slow sync) a good idea or will it kins of over expose the conjusted surrounding- should Istick to low shutter speed ?
