Point Hut Crossing

This is my first attempt at panoramic photography using stitching software - all comments/suggestions on composition/processing welcome!

i agree that more sky would look better, but this is really great! how many photos did you take? and what software did you use? it looks really great, like one long shot. not like some where some parts of the photos are stretched and other parts too compressed

Default well done!

I have a tough time with panoramas.
If anything, I'd like to see a bit more detail in the trees. I tend to meter for the shadows and let the lights burn out if I have to. Or I will bracket if I think I really might have something.

I like it too, did you use photoshop to put it together? It does an amazing job.

great job, i've recently started to shoot panoramic photos and theyre not as easy as it seems. but this one looks pretty seamless.

I used a software package called Panorama Studio which is fantastic as it has a lot of sophisticated optimising/processing tools but is extremely easy to use - and it only costs $65!!!

I used Panorama Studio to stitch about 5 photos together (it has some pretty sophisticated tools to eradicate barrelling/vignetting and a slew of other problems relating to perspective, but this software is SO easy to use - and dirt cheap! I played around with the cropping and found that with more sky the image was dominated by the skyscape - it seemed more balanced when the ratio of sky to water was more even.
