Out riding around with the family yesterday and DH wouldn't stop for me to take pics, so I took them from the car at about 60mph, lol. This is the only one I've had time to process and the original certainlly needed some work, but I'm happy with it...

Shot with the 50mm-F/1.8 Manual RAW 1/4000sec-F/2.4 ISO 200

I like the crop of the second, but the colors of the original. In fact, with some creative cloning at the very bottom left you could also include that neat looking wall on the bottom.

You know, I thought about that but I was worried at just how much time that would take and I don't normally get very much time to process as I've got 3 little ones running around! I like the colors in the original too, and may have a play at it again--

I use Corel Paintshop Pro X2 and am not 100% sure that you can do this with Adobe Elements 6.0 or not, but my guess would be that you can so long at you have a burn tool. I converted to Sepia by cropping the original image to what I liked and splitting the RGB channels and I chose the green channel as it had the contrasts I was looking for and I did some curves adjustments and highlight/midtone/shadow and then I went into my photo effects to change it to Sepia instead of just b&w aging it by about 60%. Then I used the burn tool to go around the edges of the sepia toned image at about 70% opacity to where I liked it. I then resized the image for the web and did an unsharp mask which provided the burned edge look in the final image. Hope this is clear enough! If not, I'll try to explain it better--just let me know! And thank you!!

Also, for the third pic I got the muted tones by again splitting the RGB channels and combing the green channel with my original photo which brought out the muted tones.

Love the sepia effect !
Maybe u should reconsider the framing (use simple frame, no fade effect)

Regards

i think you did a pretty good job at saving this photo. it looks like something someone would hang up in their hallway. i prefer the edited version a lot over the first

incredible shutter speed, i wanna play with a dslr now.
