Very cool!!! I'm totally not sure what I'm seeing though. How did that rock move like that?

I should add that I like the composition of this very much. I like how the light from the sun is directly above the mail rock. Then that lonely rock way out to the right is positioned really well too.

Thanks. The rocks move due to a combination of wind and ice.

I love the colors in the sky and ground. Well actually i love the colors and detail in this entire image. You mind sharing how you took captured this images and the settings used?

great colors and feel to this shot. only problem that I can see is that there really is two main subjects in this photo and that leads to distractions to both. with some croping you can actually have two different very good photos.

Shot with a Tokina 12-24mm f/4 lens in aperture priority mode. Focal length set at 12mm. Aperture at f/16 and exposed for three seconds. I adjusted the RAW image twice and merged the "two" images manually so the dynamic range is a bit more than you would expect. EXIF data.

I've got one with the rock on the left. Never really considered using the rock on the right as a primary subject because it lacks a trail. I'll have to take another look at it.
