Flat filters can create artefacts in photos by capturing and reflecting light. As Rex said, try it without a filter.

I had a filter that had a small flaw in it that caused the same sort of problem. ...You couldn't spot the flaw until you held the filter at just the right angle..Of course it only showed up some times on photos. Turned out to be dependent on the angle of the light in the photo....Drove me nuts until I found it.

Well, I'm no expert but given that the "haze" is the same basic shape in both shots but rotated, I think its something to do with the lens and it moves when you re-focus. You might try removing the lens (assuming you have DSLR), open the aperture right up and have a look through it. Hopefully it's either on the front or rear elements and not fungus within the lens.

It's brand new. And it's not on all my photos. Just those two??
Would it be on all of them if it was something like that??

Default Chromatic Aberration

Could this be the dreaded chromatic aberration. Difficult to tell as the pics are so small.
