Default Sunset from my house

Hi,

Here is one that I like a lot, partly because I didn't need to do much processing at all. All I have done to the shot is to slightly increase the contrast and then resize/border.

Sunset 2008

Anyone else got some interesting sunsets/sunrises?

Awesome shot! The colors in the sky and clouds is fantastic and I like the silhouette of the trees.

I love it! Personally, I have no idea how to do this but i would try to get rid of the powerline and maybe a building or something under the power line...
I would not crop it to get rid of the line though. If its too hard to get rid of it with software, I this its awesome the way it is!

Nice photos. It's always interesting to see what kinds of textures you can pick up on the clouds during a sunset, and the silhouettes are always an added bonus.

Here's one I got at the end of what was a mostly dreary day. I didn't expect to see the sun at all.

Default 2 more for you.

Here's a couple from Ohio. The first is From Mt. Sterling, Ohio and the second is from my front door in Grandview, Ohio. The second one has the only funnel cloud I've ever captured. If it hadn't been for the sunset, I would have missed the funnel. I love a good sunset shot, so everybody keep them coming.

Default great shots

There are some great shots here. I also would use Photoshop Elements or something similar to get rid of the electrical pole in the original shot. Use the clone stamp tool and remove the pole. Good job!!

Default Sunrise from my house

Thanks for stating this thread kljucd1. There are some wonderful sunsets here. My kitchen door faces due east so I get sunrise to start my day. Due west is a grove of quite tall lodge-pole pines and they tend to block the setting sun. (and the cold N.W. wind) Here is one the I took about a month ago.
