Default What lens is best

Hello and a good afternoon to you all. Well in Britain tonight we are forecasted a meteor shower. S o I was wondering of my 3 lenses which would be best. My 18-70 mm kit lens.... the 70- 210 sigma or my 100-300 minolta lens.

Depends what you want to do in terms of the shower. If you want to zoom right into a single meteor the 300mm one will do you well, however, it will be slow and will mean the meteors will leave long light trails (Which can be pretty cool too), alternatively if you want to really freeze the action the 18-70 is probably much faster? I would probably go with the 18-70 myself but you may regret it depending on the frequency of the meteors.

Either way good luck! Shooting a meteor shower well is no easy feat.
