It looks like a beautiful place for forest photography. I see two things and maybe others see more, that could improve this image. Number one you included the sun coming through the trees in the top portion of the scene, and I see lens flair and blown out highlight from the sun. The second thing I see is the forest floor and it is very busy with down dead limbs and tree parts. Often times sun reflecting through trees can make a very interesting image as well as the forest floor itself. But as forest usually are, they can be cluttered with brush and remnants of trees which I believe take away or distract for the image of the beautiful trees. It appears that your lens had some reflected sunlight coming into it and it gave you the flair at the top of the image. Try to avoid the direct light of the sun hitting the lens. Lens hoods can help in this regard but nothing can help when the sun hits directly into the lens itself. Another option would be to redirect your lens to capture more of the side light from the sun onto the trees, rather than the semi direct beam of the sunlight into your lens. If you can find that side light coming through the tress with a less cluttered forest floor, that I believe could enhance this image greatly.
