Default what a difference a day makes...

Took these over the weekend whilst out walking the dogs. the are each comprised of 4 images stitched to make the panorama. They are taken in roughly the same spot.

Saturday

Sunday

I realise this is stretching the forum rules by putting two images up but I thought they needed to be together, if the mods disagree I wont be too upset!

All C&C welcome!

Matt

I have moved the shot from the critique section to the technique section. I am sure you will still pick up some comments and ideas about the shots (rather dark and would have been better if they were exactly the same view are my quick comments) but this avoids the "one photo per day" limit in critique and open up discussion on the way a small shift in time can make a huge difference to the appearance of a landscape.

Wulf

ps. this is what I mean by working within the limits of DPS - posting shots for critique in other sections that don't obviously open up relevant discussion still won't fly

What program were you using to stitch them together?
I like them and only noticed one lil shift in the second picture. They are just a bit dark for my taste. Your use of the tree branches for framing is great!

Thank you!

I'm using ArcSoft Panorama Maker 4, it came bundled with the camera (Panasonic FZ18) I'm pretty pleased with the results, I kinda though that because it was a freebie it would be rubbish...how wrong I was!

I think the second photo is better for a number of reasons. First there is a stronger foreground with better color, and I'm not talking about the tree, the field. Also the sky is more interesting. I also think the overall balalnce of composition is better.
