Default Beiras mountains-Portugal-up-dated

I took this in January-3 weeks ago. I wanted to highlight the way that small villages nestle right at the bottom of valleys and the landscape 'folds' all the way down and down and down............

Nice angles and great looking scene. I think you might want to play with it a bit in post and bring some life back to the top 2 thirds of the shot.

Default Beiras 2

Yes-agree. Don't have access to any 'good' editing software until I get my own laptop-no 'permissions' on this one!!
Here's the first shot-showing more distance and including alternative energy and power pylons.

hard part about these photos are the fact that the sky gets either blown out or the foreground gets dark. Good sense of distance in the second one.

Thanks Mystic-I'm on dial-up in Saudi Arabia-so staying connected can be a problem and have tried the 'Flickr' edit function. It doesn't open-just sits and sits.
I do use Microsoft Picture Manager............easy and quick.

When I become the 'administrator' of my own laptop, I can have all the tools I want-thanks for the advice.
