Broken Weather Vane

I was all set up for a sunset shot and turned around and saw this image. The wind had died down and I was just able to get a couple of shots before the gale winds rippled the water again.

If I hadn't turned around I would have missed it!

hm, not sure this belongs in landscape photography? but anyway, i guess that's a lesson that a photographer should always be alert for good photo opportunities! sometimes the ones we didn't plan to take can be our favourites in the end.

give it some skyline perhaps. maybe i need to see the rest of the building? otherwise,not bad.
