I like the photo.

I'm not sure about the washed out background or the composition though. I might have tried to keep the sky in the background and probably kept the entire house in frame. But that's just my opinion and I don't know much

With that image I might have tried some dark vignetting and contrast to give it a bit of a 'creepy' feeling. Again, my opinion.

Cheers.

You'll probably get more feedback in the Critique section.

I like the shot, IMO saturation can be increased a bit. It lacks the pop!

I like the subject, but the crop is strange. I'd either go much wider, or much closer. Wider gives context -- is it in an overgrown yard? Is there old farm machinery about? Are there interesting trees, a plowed field, a nice sky? Closer gives nice textures and lines. Either way works, but I don't think this crop (which cuts off just a little of the barn) works as well.

As for saturation -- it doesn't need "pop", but it might look good either more saturated, or in B&W (to really bring out the textures). Again, either extreme would probably look better than this middle-of-the-road choice.

Don't take my advice too seriously, it's just the first thoughts I had when seeing this. Old ruins of this type are my favorite sorts of subjects (check my flickr for examples), so I was very interested to see it!
