Default Water

This was my first time with slow shutter speed and fast moving water. I have always wanted to try it and I got a chance. I need to improve but I think they turned out pretty well for my first try.

Impressive! How long was your exposure, and was there any wind? These turned out really well. Thanks for sharing.

I find the first photo to be more visually interesting, the way the water flows around the photo rather than straight through it. having said that i prefer the second one for its contrast between the white of the water and shadows and darker colours of the surrounding area. really nice effect with the slow shutter though. i think you should post your settings?

I agree with callmekat! The first is a bit more interesting but both are great Long Exposure water shots. Must have been a real calm day the foliage doesnt look bad at all!
I always wind up with a soft orton look to my long exposures.

This is fantastic for a first try. As others have said, I like the first one because of the diagonal water flow compared to the straight one. The exposure is perfect. You really achieved a great motion//water photograph on this one.

These are really good. I haven't had the opportunity myself to try something like this. Thank you for sharing.
