This was taken from the Abol bridge on October 7, 2006.

Shot with Cannon 20D and EFS 17-85mm IS USM lens
1/60s f/5.6 ISO 400

Amazing color and DoF! My eye goes right to the mt, but then it follows the golden tones all around, the blue has enough white to give movement and interest. I can almost feel the sunshine. Great shot.

If it were my shot the only thing I would do is trim the top OR the bottom some so that the horizon wasn't dead center of the image.

I this case it doesn't bother me that the horizon is centered, I'm entranced with the clarity of the reflection in the water and the mirror effect. If there was a case to break the rule of thirds this would be a good one.

This is a really great image! The sky especially caught my eye! But the trees, water and mountain also caught it!

In answer to the question regarding shutter speed.

Shot with Cannon 20D and EFS 17-85mm IS USM lens
Focal length 22mm, shutter speed 1/60s, aperture f/5.6 and ISO 400
