Default A few shots from India...

I recently visited India on a business trip and had the occassion to visit Fort Jadhavgarh near the city of Pune. Some shots from that morning. Hopefully you will enjoy these. All were shot with a Canon EOS 5D2 coupled with the EF 24-105 f/4L lens. Comments/criticisms/suggestions are welcome :-)

Thanks for taking the time to look at these!

Nice light with the fog/mist in the first image. It's my favorite of the set.

#3 and #1 in that order are my favorites. All three nice shots. TFS. I wonder how #3 would look with a bit less sky?

That is a good suggestion! I will try that tonight. Normally, I tend not to crop in post, preferring to get the composition correct in camera. But maybe cropping this will improve the composition. Thanks for the suggestion...

No problem. I desire to get the composition I have in mind correct in camera. But I do at times play "what if I did this?" with different crops.

At least for me, sometimes what I see in my mind, through the viewfinder and what ends up on the monitor are different.

I'm an Indian who lives overseas and I think picture taking possibilities in India are endless. From the people to the culture to the architecture and landscapes.. everything has a story.

Beautiful photos here. I'd definitely have to say #1 is my favorite, I love the feel of it

You were quite right, my friend. It does look better cropped :-). Thanks for the suggestion!

Great clarity, colors and comp's here. Yeah, the first one is really unique, although the entire set is great! You took full advantage of those wonderful lights. TFS!
