Hey guys,

I'm a new user here, I thought I'd make a post and share one of my photos, and what better way to feel welcome than to have strangers tell me what's wrong with it.
I just bought my first DSLR and went out to test it the other night, tell me what you think.

Welcome Cory. You may get more responses if you asked a particular question about your photo. Also, posting the EXIF data would help. As far as your image, I think I'd find the color version more interesting which would add a little more life to the image. Also, it's a little too centered within the frame for my taste...maybe a little more foreground and less sky would move the house higher up within the frame (or vice versa) Keep shooting, and have fun with your new investment

Hope you didnt mind that I moved it to the Share Your Shots section. You mentioned you wanted to share a photo so thought this might be a better section suited for that.
