Default The Kansas Prairie

I took a little afternoon trip to the Maxwell Game Preserve located in McPherson County KS. There are Buffalo at the Max, but none wanted to be seen yesterday. After capturing a few landscapes, I headed down the road to the McPherson State Fishing Lake. Below are some of the images I managed to come away with on my adventure.

Lay Of The Land

Ambush Road

Buffalo Gulch

Goose Gathering

Thanks for viewing, here's to a great weekend!

Thanks Leona. What do you do with a buffalo? Nothing the buffalo doesn't want to do!

Looks like you had some lovely weather for you afternoon out Tom and you got some great captures. All excellent shots but I pick out the second one as a favourite for the great composition. Nice work buddy.

Dave.

Thanks Bill! You are the second person to point that out. I guess I will have to travel there and see for myself. Thanks again.

Thank you Dave. I was soooo happy to see that blue sky! I liked number two as well. Your kind words made the drive even more nice. Thanks again!

Nice adventure, Tom. I especially like your first two. The first for its portrayal of the open prairie and the second for the lone tree and the lines of the road formed by your low perspective. Nicely done!

Thanks Mike. I rolled the dice on the first image. I didn't know if it would work. I was going for just what you saw, so I guess I came up seven come eleven!
